Auto Colonization of Planets

New players are always assigned EVEN numbered planets in SI. So if you are colonizing planets in a system and want the most new blood to be added in - either for future farms or potential recruits, only colonize ODD numbered planets. Apparently its part of the coding in SI that new players only get even numbered planets assigned to them when they sign up for SI. Apparently that prevents a system from being entirely populated by new 0 pt players.

On the reverse if you want to create your own little empire within a system you should colonize all the odd planets first. This wont stop a larger player from moving in but will make it harder for them to catch an open planet in the system b/c at any moment the open (even numbered) planets may be taken by a new player.
